The Enneagram I didn’t chose and I am posting here is personality Five the Observer. Delvin comes from a strong machismo Irish family. There are lots of males in his family who think hockey and football are the two best sports in the world and would rather beat each other up rather than eat. The Observer belives they must protect themselves from a world that demands to much and gives to little. Observers look for satisfying self and are not demanding, but are analytic and thoughtful. They are private and detached except from those they care about. Delvin has a beautiful voice that he hides from his family because he thinks they will think that he is soft or not manly. So his family has no idea that he has a beautiful singing voice. I think that Delvin is underestimating his family and their reaction.
