This is My Reflection of my Full Sail University Classes 2020What would I share with the next incoming class?

I created an Adobe Spark Video to share how I felt about my MFA Program.

As an educator, I would say to the students coming behind me to please pay attention to instructions.

Be mindful of you and your classmates’ time.

Turn in assignment early if possible, so that you will have enough time to correct any errors.

Stay positive and be kind some people are not good at giving or receiving feedback.

Ask questions and have fun!

Make friends with the other students

Final Cut Reflection Week

Oh man I was so sick last week. This week I am so much better but still sick, no it wasn’t’t Covid. There are still so many other things that can make you sick in this world. But by grace, I got my project done. This week Im dealing with a Hurricane, Laura is her name and she traveling with 150mph winds.

Whoa!

I am hoping for a decent grade on this Final Cut project. I loved improving it. I loved finding people who where nice enough to allow me to use their voices. I feel like I put my heart into this project and If I must say so I think I did a great job.

There was no feedback required for this one, however, I was happy to get a compliment from one of the students. Please find the link below that shares my reflection video for the week.

I felt Joy, and happiness, I was happy that I got it done before Laura made an appearance. Hopeful for positive feedback for my Final Cut.

Final Cut: Revisions

I revised my rough draft as per my feedback in last weeks class. First I wanted to clear up the scene with the chair in the detention room. A couple of people thought the scene was meant as an obstacle for why Dylan would not make it to an audition for the school’s choir.

I changed a few scenes so the story flows better. I feel like the beat of the story is richer.

I also added dialogue to the scenes, another suggestion from the professor. Adding dialogue does make a difference. The visuals are more understandable and helps to guide the story.
